Tooth Brushing

Brushing your teeth is the simplest and most effective single measure you can take to preserve your dental health.  It is best to brush your teeth after each meal, but if this is not possible you should brush a minimum of once per day.  The fronts and backs of all your teeth, along with the biting surfaces of your molars, should be brushed.

It is the very tips of the toothbrush which provide the cleaning action and actually scrub plaque off the teeth.  Therefore, when the bristles on your toothbrush are bending over or sticking out in every direction, the brush is no longer really effective for cleaning your teeth and should be replaced.

Brushing your teeth daily, combined with regular dental checkups at Minneapolis Dental, can help ensure your teeth stay healthy and strong.
